Weight Loss Myth Revealed! Healthy Weight Loss Supplements are not a Scam!

Tags: , , , , , ,

Lifestyle modifications are the foundation of any successful long-term weight loss plan (eating less and moving more), but requires daily focus and discipline. It’s not surprising that Americans want some sort of miracle cure packaged nicely in one little healthy weight loss supplement. As time goes on and technology improves, people become more and more willing to look for a fix rather than a solution.

Since there are too many choices out there to compare regarding healthy weight loss supplements, it all comes down to two questions: Are Weight-loss supplements safe? and Do they work? The answer is in the ingredients and the testimonials of people who have taken them.

All -natural products will not get people addicted to anything outside of wanting to live healthier. So many medications and drugs people take come wtih complications and side effects. What happens when your body gets something all-natural is that it begins to heal itself in a non-addictive way.

Many weight loss programs encourage users to reduce their calories and exercise more for the best results. While most people can benefit from both of these lifestyle changes, what you want are all-natural healthy weight loss supplements that work regardless of physical activity. After all, some of us can’t exercise due to an injury, and some of us have severe asthma, or other health challenges.

You must also stay away from any one miracle product claiming to solve all of your problems. The human body is complex and requires targeted products that focus on individual areas in order to aid the body as a whole. Doctors can only give people the best estimate of their problems, so how could a little pill perform mircales that humans can’t?

Since the soil today is depleted of minerals and animals are injected with hormones, the foods that we once thought were healthy aren’t so much anymore. Fruit and vegetables get picked way before they have had a chance to properly grow just do they can make it to the grocery stand, and we are missing out on all the nutrition we should be getting. Healthy weight loss supplements are the only way to finish the job.

Most of the time people try to take shortcuts by taking weight loss pills without eating properly, thinking it’s better to find an easy way out tha to get to the root of the problem. When it doesn’t work out, they blame the pill instead of themselves for making poor choices. This is how people have come to think that weight loss supplements are a scam.

There is nothing wrong with being skeptical, but most companies that provide good quality healthy weight loss supplements have scientists developing their products for your benefit. Take advantage of that. They are providing you with something you cannot find in stores. It always amazes me how people can be so skeptical about products that contain all-natural ingredients, yet they will devour double cheeseburgers and french fries without even thinking about it…and they already know it’s bad for them!

With proper nutrition and targeted healthy weight loss supplements using all natural ingredients, your body has the ability to do amazing things. It can heal itself quicker than someonewho is eating poorly, and it is the only way a person can become well enough to stop using medications. I personally lost 70 pounds and have kept it off for over 15 years and stopped taking my prescription asthma medications simply by providing myself with proper nutrition using healthy weight loss supplements.

Losing weight is definitely possible with all-natural healthy weight loss supplements, but in order to keep it off for good you must learn to make it a lifestyle change and continue on a healthy path to overall wellness. You cannot take supplements designed to help you lose weight, then go out and eat junk food all day long. It just will not work.

The best thing you can do to begin to understand how all-natural healthy weight loss supplements work for weight loss is that they provide proper nutrition, and what happens when you give your body the right nutrients and vitamins? It naturally begins to lose weight and heal itself. The only scam going on is when you try to trick your body into thinking it can function properly without proper nutrition.

Revealed! How I Achieved a 70 Pound Healthy Weight Loss in 4 Months and Have Kept it Off for 15 Years!

Tags: , , , , , , , ,

No matter what stop light your car is parked at, chances are good that you can look over at any of the four street corners and see a fast food restaurant. Despite all of the technical advances and knowledge we are equipped with to help us lead healthy lifestyles, temptation is keeping our nation fat and a soaring need for healthy weight loss for over 65% of Americans. One cheeseburger won’t hurt us in the long run, we say, but ten years later we wonder how we became obese.

Another factor helping America achieve the status of being the fattest nation in the world, and an alarming need for healthy weight loss, is fad diets. We eat cheeseburgers, tacos and fried chicken at all of these fast food restaurants, then jump on whatever fad diet train that conveniently passes by in order to try and cheat our way back to good health. All it seems to be doing is making us even fatter.

I struggled with being overweight for twenty years before finally realizing that cheaters never prosper, and it goes double when dealing with your health. I spent over $2,000 on various weight loss programs only to lose 60 pounds and gain back 80 pounds. The only logical solution I could come up with was that there was something wrong with me personally or I was using the wrong weight loss programs.

But thankfully, I’m not the type of person who gives up. When I finally woke up and realized that there will never be some sort of miracle cure packaged nicely in one little healthy weight loss supplement that will help anyone lose weight, things became clear. In order to lose weight and keep it off for good, I had to face the fact that lifestyle changes must be made and I had to find a healthy weight loss program that would work for me.

Lifestyle modifications are the foundation of any successful long-term weight loss plan (eating less and moving more), and they require daily focus and discipline. I had chronic asthma all of my life and could not exercise or even breathe heavy, yet I still found a way to lose 70 pounds 15 years ago and have been medication free ever since. For me there was no other choice. It all came down to making simple decisions on a daily basis.

The way I lost weight was by replacing high-fat and high-sugar foods with proper nutrition and targeted vitamins made from all natural ingredients. Specifically, I began replacing unhealthy meals with a soy-based protein shake that gave my body all of the proper nutrition that a huge high-calorie meal gives you, minus the salt, sugar and fat. Proper nutrition and less calories equals healthy weight loss. Did I give up the foods I love? No. I just don’t eat them quite so often.

One of the biggest misconceptions that I have encountered since beginning to help people in their healthy weight loss journey is that all you have to do is eat vegetables and fruits to get the nutrition you need. Although these foods are a much healthier alternative than low-fat potato chips and cookies, you still have to eat too much of them to get the nutrition of a scientifically formulated protein shake.

Calories are calories no matter what the food source is, and the more you consume, the more you will gain weight. One 200 calorie soy-based protein meal replacement shake, for example, could be packed with all the nutrients found in eating 2,000 calories worth of food.

The human body is complex and requires many different needs for all of your problems which cannot be solved with one little weight loss pill. Treating each organ individually so that it functions at its optimum performance is the safest way to achieve an overall wellness of the body. By taking an all-natural products targeted to help me breathe better, I was soon able to get off all of my asthma medications while achieving the weight loss I wanted.

Another reason why I was successful at losing weight and keeping it off was because I had a support system. My coach had been where I was, and struggled in the same ways to achieve weight loss. Because he was part of the program I began, my coach’s success was dependent on my success. And that is why I am so successful at helping people lose weight now. I have been there before and I know what it’s like.

The best part about the meal replacements and supplements I have conditioned myself to take every day to keep me healthy is the cost. It is cheaper for me to get the best nutrition possible into my system than it is to buy the extra value meal at any given fast food restaurant. How can you beat spending $3.50 per meal without putting your health at risk.

It is important that you understand the importance of making healthy choices as a new way of life. It is extremely difficult in America today to find the road to good health and stay on it, but you must if you want to achieve healthy weight loss and keep it off for good. Do not let poor food and diet choices rob you of living the best life you can live. For things to change, you’ve got to change.

5 Ways to Break a Healthy Weight Loss Plateau!

Tags: , , , , ,

Even though everyone loses weight in a different way, it is common and perfectly normal for any dieter to reach a plateau.  Instead of allowing it to frustrate you, use it as an opportunity to double up your efforts and reconnect with your strategy to carry you through to the finish line. Listed below are 5 of the best ways to re-ignite the healthy weight loss process when you feel challenged. Choose the tips that work best for you or simply go for them all!

Healthy Weight Loss Plateau Breaker #1: Start Exercising
Although you can lose weight without exercise, it will always accellerate your efforts. If you are not injured or do not suffer from severe asthma, be thankful that you can get outside and move your body. Take advantage of your ability to be active because many people do not have that luxury. The more you exercise, the better you will get at it, and the less it will feel like work.

If you are already exercising, add something different to the mix to make your body working harder. Add intensity, in the form of extra weight, run faster or for a longer distance, or more duration. Going until you fail is the easiest way to ensure you’re pushing hard enough. Add extra sit-ups and push-ups before you go to sleep and when you wake up. Done in the AM on an empty stomach, this can kick-start your metabolism by teaching your body to more efficiently mobilize its fat stores for energy.

Healthy Weight Loss Plateau Breaker #2: Make Healthier Eating Choices
When you are trying to lose weight, there is nothing more important than proper nutrition. Your body can perform miracles with choices like soy protein shakes, fruits and vegetables. You’ll not only bust past your plateau, but you’ll do it in a healthy way. Eliminate refined sugar grains (most pre-packaged snack foods) so carbohydrates can not get their way unnoticed into your diet.

Cutting back on how often you eat can have a negative impact on your diet plateau as well. Small, frequent meals are more satisfying and produce better weight-loss results than the same number of calories consumed in three large meals. Take advantage of healthys nacks like protein bars, soy nuts and fresh vegetable and fruit slices. Eating more of the right kinds of food is a much smarter plan of action to break a healthy weight loss plateau than starving yourself.

Healthy Weight Loss Plateau Breaker #3: Drink Green Tea
Whenever I want to lose 5 or 10 pounds of stubborn belly fat, I drink more green tea. Packed with more vitamins and antioxidants than any other drink, green tea is an all-natural way to give yourself energy to compliment your enthusiasm for losing weight. The best part, however, is that green tea ahas the amazing ability to actually speed up your metabolism! You will notice results right away with just one cup, but the more you drink it, the more you will want it!

Healthy Weight Loss Plateau Breaker #4: Keep Your Incentive Strong
the body achieves what the mind believes. If you don’t believe you can make it past the hurdle of a weight loss plateau, you probably won’t. You’ll give up before you have a chance to even try. Focus on re-capturing the determination you felt when you first began your weight-loss program. The excitement of watching the pounds drop one by one should be the focus of your motivation. If it was something that has come and gone, like a high school reunion or a wedding, choose a new goal.

Start keeping a diet journal of everything you eat and drink. You may quickly discover that hidden carbohydrates and sugars are keeping your healthy weight-loss progress stuck at the plateau. Eliminate trigger foods or anything that you think may be contributing to your inability to lose more weight. If you are eating pretzels every day at 2pm, don’t starve yourself by not eating if you are hungry at that time…just replace the pretzels with something healthier like fruit or chicken.

Healthy Weight Loss Plateau Breaker #5: Drink More Water
It is extremely important to replenish your fluids by drinking plenty of water on any weight loss program, especially if you are incorporating exercise on a daily basis. An inadequate supply of water can slow down your weight-loss, so carry a water bottle with you wherever you go throughout the day. Keeping well hydrated not only helps you burn fat efficiently, it also helps control hunger.

Follow these 5 steps and you will have a better chance of breaking your healthy weight loss plateau than if youcontinue stressing over the obstacle. Each time you sit down to eat or have a snack, take a moment to become mindful that the food you are about to eat is either taking you one step closer to your goal, or one step away. As you make this mental connection, and dedicate each serving of food or drink to your weight loss, you will naturally be inclined to enjoy the foods and drinks that pushed you past your plateau.

Healthy Diet for Long Term Weight Loss Success

Tags: , , , , , ,

Weight loss is all about burning more calories than you eat, but what’s the best way to do that? Knowing the basics of how to lose weight, how to exercise for weight loss and how to motivate yourself are essential for creating a program that works for you.

If you’ve ever tried to lose weight, you know it can be a difficult process. But, there are ways to make it easier. Understanding exactly what you need to do to lose weight is your first step
Despite what you may think, losing weight isn’t a mysterious process. In fact, weight loss doesn’t even have to involve strange diets, special exercises or even the ‘magic’ of pills or fitness gadgets. Want the secret to weight loss? Make small changes each and every day and you’ll slowly (but surely) lose those extra pounds.

Rules of Weight Loss

To lose one pound, you must burn approximately 3500 calories  over and above what you already burn doing daily activities.
1.  Calculate your BMR  (basal metabolic rate). Your BMR is what your body needs to maintain normal functions like breathing, digestion, etc.
2. Calculate your activity level. Use a calorie calculator to figure out how many calories you burn while sitting, standing, exercising, lifting weights, etc. throughout the day.
3. Keep track of how many calories you eat. Use a food journal to add up what you eat and drink during the day. If you’re eating less calories than you’re burning, you’ll lose weight.

Setting weight loss goals is probably one of the more difficult things to do when you embark on an exercise and/or diet program. How much do you need to lose?

That question is hard to answer and often based on your particular goals. If you’re losing weight for your health, your goal might be more modest, say 5-10% of your current weight. But what if you have something more specific in mind like a certain clothing-size you want to fit into? How do you set a reasonable goal for yourself?

The key to setting weight loss goals is to follow the standard of goal setting. It needs to be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and tangible. Your first step is determining if you really need to lose weight.

Do You Need to Lose Weight?

If you talk to most people, you’ll probably find that everyone feels like they need to lose weight, even people who appear to be at a healthy weight. Often our weight loss goals are based on what we think we should look like rather than what’s reasonable for our bodies right now.

In general, a candidate for weight loss may have the following characteristics:

* A BMI of more than 25
* A Waist-Hip ratio of higher than .8 for women and higher than 1.0 for men
* An Abdominal Girth measurement of more than 35 inches in women and 40 inches in men

Of course, those aren’t the only clues that tell us we need to lose weight. There are those annoying indications like tight clothes, getting out of breath doing simple activities, or stepping on a scale for the first time in awhile. But, before you set goals based on what you think you should weigh, make sure you really need to lose weight.

Set Your Goals

If you’ve determined you do need to lose weight, your next step is to set a reasonable weight loss goal for yourself. You can base your goals on any number of  factors, but a great place to start would be the general recommendations set out by the American College of Sports Medicine which are 5-10% of body weight or one to two pounds per week.

Healthy Eating is Essential

Tags: , ,

Humans have long associated longevity with healthy eating. In fact, a well balanced diet helps your body organs to function optimally, allows you to stay within an optimal weight range, and increases your overall “feel good” factor about yourself. Therefore, there is no reason why you shouldn’t practice healthy living. It is one of the best things to do for your life. Groups with special dietary needs such as children, elderly folks, breastfeeding mothers, and those who are ill must partake in a balanced lifestyle. Well portioned and wholesome food should be consumed to allow the body to grow, heal, and function optimally.

Generally, healthy eating begins when you include the five major groups of food in your diet. They are namely; carbohydrate, protein, fat, fruit, and vegetable. It is recommended that you take at least five portions of vegetables and fruits daily. As for meat, fish, poultry, and starchy foods, consume in moderation. Besides that, you should significantly reduce the intake of elements such as sugar, salt, and oil. Whenever possible, increase the variety of food choice. If you are unable to meet all the dietary requirements, consider taking supplements. They help to supplement for the nutrients that you may lack. However, do not substitute real food for supplement pills. Nutrient absorption is always more effective in natural food consumption.

Bear in mind that you should also exercise and drink plenty of water. If you are making dietary changes, do it one step at a time. This helps you to focus and allow more effective changes to take place. Once awhile, you can consume snack or that junk food that you’ve been craving for. It’s unhealthy to deprive yourself of the food you enjoy. Ultimately, your food experience should be pleasurable. Other points to note include eating small meals frequently, eat early, take your time to chew, and avoid stress when eating. Healthy living is reflected through the way you treat your body. Your body deserves nothing but the best.
